These article writing tips help in choice of writing style as that gives the reader an idea of your maturity and ideology. Worse, it can also give the impression of vapidity if you tend to be frivolous in your style of writing.

1. Formality

If you are writing to a young audience, an easygoing style is acceptable. An informal greeting and a joke are a good way to get interest. If the audience is young adult, you have to take care that your attempt at informality does not sound contrived. With an adult audience, the level of formality increases. Though you may start your article with an anecdote to garner attention, the body of your article must remain formal.

2. Friendliness

This is an important aspect of article writing tips. Children respond well to a friendly tone as do young adults. The friendliness should be tempered on the basis of choice of subject. If you are writing an article on animal training for a young audience, you can introduce them to the feelings of the animal in a way that they can relate to. With an older audience, it is better to state the facts about the animal’s feelings since the audience expects to be informed rather than get feelings drawn in.

3. Conciseness

This is the most important of article writing tips. No audience will stay with a written piece that rambles. Human concentration spans are short. If you do not capture reader interest with your introduction, you have lost the chance to be read.
